Loading ...Behr or Glidden?
I have used Glidden paint since forever, because it’s what my parents used. The last time I was at Home Depot the salesgirl told me that Behr was better “for the money,” but Behr is more expensive, so how can that be an apt comparison?
What’s the deal? Is it better? Or is she just trying to meet some secret Home Depot paint sales associate quota for the month? I have used Glidden and Behr, and I cannot tell the difference.
There are more expensive brands, I know, but I don’t want to pay more for interior paint.

well personally I think that behr is definatly a better paint , it covers better it hides well MEANING the stains that might be on a wall before painting ,However I think that neither of the 2 are comparable to benjamin moore ,,,, youll see if it’s quality you want get benjamin moore’s manor hall thats top of the line ~~JOB VanTine~~ vantines_tubntile@yahoo.com

I have used both. And in my opinion they are both pretty good quality paints for the money. What I have noticed is that Behr is a little more true to color after drying when you compare the dry paint on the wall to the color sample. I like that since I usually bring a million samples home to chose from.

Used both and like Glidden better, I like the Glidden Evermore line. Very durable washable finish.

I don’t know that there is much of a difference between Behr and Gldden. Have used both with same results.

I actually used BOTH Glidden and Behr in my new home. We used Glidden primer and sprayed it with an airless sprayer. Worked very well. All the paint was Behr eggshell. Although it was not recommended to spray the Behr paint (it’s quite thick) we sprayed the ceilings anyway, and we were very pleased with the results.
The Behr paint covers very well, and it’s easy to work with. I’ve also been pleased with how it holds up and cleans up.
If you have used them both, then perhaps only time will tell which one holds up and cleans up best in your household!

Hey sry..this isnt about your question but you answered mine and i wont to reply back to you and see if you know what to do. I have been wanting to be a vegitarian for a little more than a year. My mom supports me but my step mom doesnt and i live with my step mom. I have a book on health and everything and she knows that. I am not sure if the health is the problem though. I think that she does not want to make differnt meals. All i ask for example is to leave a little bowl of speggitee sauce without meat. is that to much to ask?
