If I sell a home do I have to pay income tax,?
If one sells a primary residence, at what age is he exempt from paying income tax on the proceeds. If he buys another house, does he or she have to invest all of the proceedsof the first house in the new house. Is this a one time thing
the exemption from income tax on the sale of the home and at what age does this exemption take place.

What is the average age of first time home buyer?
I’m 24 years old and I’ll be finished with college in about a year. I’m looking into purchasing my own home after college. For my line of work, I’ll earning about 55K a year.
Should I wait a couple of years and buy the house in the range of 200K-300K or should I buy a small house first in the range of 80K-100K?
I’m also looking into the real estate business. Any comment/suggestion is appreciated.
